10th March, 2013: Today, we went to King George Island to see the E-base which was put together by Robert Swan in 2008. This base runs entirely on Renewable energy - Wind and Solar energy. It is amazing that out of all the different nations’ bases, this is the only base running on Renewable energy. I salute Sir Robert Swan for this great achievement. It’s great pride for all of us
